Short, plain terms for a free beta-style service. Last updated September 2026.
What you can do
- Upload short video clips (within our size and duration limits) to generate captions.
- Edit, style, and download captioned videos for your own projects.
How long we keep your files
Uploaded videos and export files are temporary. We keep them on our servers for about 12 hours, then delete them automatically. This is not a permanent media library — download your captioned video within that window. Caption project metadata (title, stage, edits) may remain in your account longer so you can see history, but the video itself will need a fresh upload after expiry.
What you shouldn’t do
- Abuse, overload, or try to break the service.
- Upload illegal content or material you don’t have rights to use.
- Use automated scraping or bulk abuse that harms other users.
Best-effort free service
Hinglish Caption is provided as-is, free for now, with no uptime SLA. Jobs may be delayed or rejected when the server is at capacity. We may change limits, features, or introduce a paid faster tier later.
Your content
You keep ownership of your videos and captions. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the service (transcription, romanization, preview, and export). We delete job files from our servers after the ~12 hour retention window described above (or earlier if a job fails / the server is cleaned).
